Most of us know Essex Boat Yards (EBY) or have looked at their website from time-to-time. I have discretely visited them and looked, but have never bought a boat from them. I have placed some minor parts orders and they have efficiently dealt with a warranty claim for me.
Recently I lost a chrome nut and two nylon washers from my anchor bow roller, I sent EBY a picture and they promptly ordered the parts and said they would let me know the cost to include postage when they arrive.
Despite berthing in Sant Carles – Spain, I was delighted to receive an email from Heather Surgett stating that the parts had already been despatched to me free of charge! I know it’s not a huge cost, but I really appreciated this gesture particularly in this financial climate, so, a really good service and a big thanks to:
