Good sailing opportunity?

While I'm sailing in Spain and Portugal this year my other boat, moored in a Dorset harbour, will be sadly under used. I don't want to sell her and I certainly don't want to lose the mooring (having waited ten years for it) so I was thinking of finding one or two people to use her while I'm away in exchange for a bit of guardiennage (sp?) and a paltry contribution to costs. Does anyone have experience of this kind of informal arrangement and where might I find interested individuals?

My insurance covers anyone sailing her with my permission but is it possible for a potential sharer to get their own insurance to cover them for using my boat?

She's an elderly but very tolerant MG 'Medusa', bilge keeler 23ft, inboard diesel.

Is there a local Sea Cadet / Sea Scout group who might want an extra sailing resource in exchange for looking after the boat while you are away? When I was involved with Sea Scouts a couple of years ago the regs were fairly stringent to get 'approval' to do estuary / coastal sailing so the leaders should know what they are doing.

Shame I dont have the experience to sail her. Only sailed dingies and have PBL2.
I could certainly have looked after her, just the sailing thats the problem.

I would be interested in something like this if you could make it work. I have sent a PM.
