Ok, so I need a GOOD rigger in the northern Adriatic.

I'm a all year livaboard with my wife and do pretty much everything ourselves.

I'm very happy with the rig and have done a thorough rig inspection from top to bottom, but i'm planning on replacing the Triatic (ketch rig) as it has two insulators that I don't use and probably should be replaced. I'm quite happy to remove it and re-attach it, but would like to have a rigger re-tension everything before I set off later in the summer for a months cruising.

Can anyone recommend a good rigger in the Trieste area? All i've heard so far is bad reviews!

I don't mind travelling a little way (120 miles ish) if required.

I have two names, both in Venice area. Mind that I did not test them personally, even if I have contacted them.
1 - http://www.tecnosailing.com - They have been pointed to me as "good". I found them quite expensive. They are located in Marghera (Venice), but they travel.
2 - http://www.sailandrigging.com/ - They are based in Chioggia (Darsena Le Saline, where you should be easily able to find a berth for the duration); they are very experienced. Their company used to sell X yachts and now produces Italia Yachts, which won Best Yacht of the Year Award a couple of years ago.

Aprilia Marittima in Laguna di Marano (entrance at Lignano) is within your range. I have had excellent service from:
Nautic Service s.n.c.
Via dell'Anguilla, 23
33050 Aprilia Marittima (UD)
0431 53306
nauticservice(at)apriliamarittima(dot)it

It is a one-man business - Vieri Baldasseroni. A good workman and very dependable.

The channel to the marina may need access at high tide for deeper-draught vessels (>2m), although recently dredged.
