That £160K is before you start adding essentials which somehow get left off the standard fit-out and are listed as extras. £200K would be nearer the mark.
I would have thought that was a very nice job, company stability issues aside. I have helped Rustler Yachts out at many boat shows and talking to prospective owners, even the ones that are just "kicking fenders" is quite enjoyable.
Waterside location, nice offices ........
If I lived nearby I might well have applied.
If you have specified and managed the build of your own boat the stress of building someone else's would seem like fun.
