I phoned their helpdesk tomorrow and found them to be... very helpful! Hopefully I will have a clear passage soon. Ahem.

Last time I reported one, they came and inspected and told me to cut it loose and let it go.

They then measured the pontoon I moored to and tried to up the rates thet were charging the marina.....

I agree with tony, they haven't cleared it yet.. Z zz

We all know these behind the scenes help desk chats.

Help desk operator. 'we'll get someone to look at the tree up your passage as soon as possible. Thank you for calling the Environment Agency.'

Second operator. 'Who was that?'

First operator. 'Dunno, some tossa about a tree up his passage.'

Second operator. 'Ah forget it, tell him to see a doctor if he calls again!'.

First operator. 'Good morning, Environment Agency, Satvinder speaking. How may I help you?'

Cynical???

I think he was called Andrew, but I do recall you getting your bottom stuck nearabouts and you had to lift your leg and make us sit on your forwards bits so you could get up.

How about we all try and get up Gavies back passage and give it a good tug . If we are all going at it hard enough we may be able to free his log .

That's the trouble when you stir around back passages, always get the silt released turns the water brown.
