On the mobo forum someone has organised a boat jumble at a car boot sale (not locally) but how about if we organised one at say Besemer rd, car boot in Cardiff. Would it work?

I went to the Cardiff Boat Jumble and was hugely disappointed. Was planning to spend £500 or so but ended up buying nothing! I know the weather was appalling but there were very few stalls and what was there was very expensive. Nowhere to shelter from the rain squalls and would you buy stuff that was on display in the open in pouring rain? Maybe it would have been different in warm sunshine............

I went to the CBYC one at the weekend and bought a few odds and sods, pretty much something from every stall which was far better than the official Cardiff Boat Jumble.

My sister used the Sully Car Boot Sale to move lots of household bits and pieces, inc. some wetsuits I had. She didn't like the Cardiff events...too commercial she said. Go along to Sully (Sundays a.m. in summer) and have a word with them. I think it was £5 per car entrance charge.
