Good forecast from Simon

What a good call from Simon on Friday afternoon.

I have to admit that, like others. I could not see from the charts where he got his strong winds from. Neither, it seems, could any other met forecasters at that time. All the others I looked at were talking of much lower wind speeds at that point.

Well done Simon! I think I will be signing up for one of your classes.

It is really spooky how close Simon always gets with his forecasts.

I too would also like to do one of his day schools, I think you will find he is busy writing a book at the moment, look forward to that.

You are all too kind (and there's a fiver in the post! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )

I may not be able to post Thursday, so my apologies for that in advance.

Book is now finished and I am getting prices for printing, any suggestions for good publishers are more than welcome!

Welcome anytime at Weather School.

Yes - a good call.
We had a 3 day regatta for small cruisers
I cancelled racing 24 hrs. in advance for the Sunday on the strength of it - causing some "discussion" . . . .
Ended up getting applause at the prizegiving next day for my good call !!!!
Thanks Simon.
We also got one gust on the Monday of 40knots in the Bristol channel - followed by a calm.
