Hi Peeps, need to get the above from Finguerola
Think it's too much hassle to go get with a trailer
It's about 1700 miles too and probably not cost effective
Any Links Guys or recommendations?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
K

Kwakers!! No trailer you say? Ever thought of flying it back?

OK not much of a recommendation, I'll get me coat. I know a few expats down that way that shuttle back and forth getting UK merchandise for the expats. Tetley tea apparently is a scarce commodity. Dodgy bunch, not much of a recommendation either. Right, I'm off. :encouragement:

Kwak let it down and put in your case welch air lines will let you bring anytin back to rhyl air port

give this guy a contact,he is very good

www.jimbothescot.com or mail jimbothescot1@yahoo.co.uk

Will do hartcjhart, thank you.
sarabande, had a Tremendous quote through your link 'Shiply' almost too good to be true!!
Have you used them/ had any experience with them?
Just the 'quote' was 50% cheaper than anybody else and the link takes me to the 'next step' and asks for a deposit
Worried about that until I have had dialogue with a 'Human'
Although there is a phone No to contact but it is 9-5 Monday-Fri
seastoke--- Landing at Rhyl Airport would be a bummer with the deflated rib, the nearest slipway is 1/2 a mile away and the launching fee for an inflated 9 metre rib is £4 . 11 and 6 pence, well it was last time I was there, bit dear really
Oh! BruceK , I thought about attaching a wing / aerofoil but my Licence to fly has a ceiling of 41 ft 11 inches during daylight hours only which is rather limiting. I was going to go try and 'leap up' to 200ft, the next level by the way governed by the Welsh low flying office . Known as the 'WLF Off' by most Low Flying Fokkers, whose base is near Dortmund I believe. Dunno why, must be a kinda 'Twinned With' thing Yu know like ' Welcome to Bangor Twinned with BorrusiaMunchenglad bach' Must be the 'bach' thing Or Like Rhyl 'Twinned with Nobody but looking on various dating sites in Hope' Now 'Hope' is a town near Wrexham by the way in case you were wondering
so anyway
Thanks all
Oh Steve Clayton, yes thanks. I have tried that route you suggested
But all the Firms I spoke to seemed confused
Dunno why, maybe they didn't understand me Rhyl/ Bangor / Scousy welsh accent?
Can't think why at all!??

Try Transcars ltd, Essex(?)
I knew a driver that did European runs picking up accident damaged UK cars.
If you have someone to load and unload it they may be able to help.
Good company, imho.

I've used Shiply for UK loads, but not for European stuff.

What's the operator's feedback like ? Insurance extra ?

And is the RIB 'clean' ? You don't want Border Patrol dogs indicating something fishy.

Yoh Mate
The RIB is cleaner than a clean thing and has a fishless history
The Operator's feed back is @ 96% and I am lead to believe the Insurance levels are adequate as per the info provided
I will try to contact by telling bone on this coming Monday and try and get a 'feel' for the transporter
