Kent boat jumble is on tomorrow, i have to get some fenders and wondered if anyone has bought them from the stalls at boat jumbles, i know there are people selling unbranded new fenders there, probably cheap chinese ones but wondered if they are any good?

If the Fenders are Anchor Brand I would think they are genuine but who knows these days. Avoid those with a blue band on the tops epecially if you have a white yacht as they often transfer their colour to the hull; also be sure that they can be reinflated by you with an adaptor suited to them; some are just a ball bearing for a valve and do leak.
If you see them there are some flat fenders of closed cell foam, but not really thick enough to keep a good distance from your neighbour, being only about 4" thick or so.
Get two large and two small so they can protect the hull at both ends, the two small at midships and the larger ones at fore and aft positions.
