Good Experience in Ramsgate

Came out of Limehouse on Tuesday in a slow wooden motor boat, down the Princes channel, and onto Ramsgate arriving about 9pm. Somehow we had read the almanac wrong (or the almanac was wrong) and we thought fuel was available to 10pm. Moored on the fuel pontoon and a voice shouted over, what were we doing, what did we want etc. Explained we hoped to be off again at 4am and the Council employee came round and opened the office up again and served us - for cash, because the banking facilities not available, but with receipts. We were very grateful and think this was pretty good service.

Yep, that is good service - what a nice change to be able to say something good about Ramsgate Harbour.

We are Shifting to Ramsgate tomorrow, our first visit for a few months and am more curious to see if we go aground on entry!

I personally like the harbour and have spent many a pleasant evening there.

Do intend in writing to the Council, but would an email to the Leisure Dept (assuming they run it) do as well?
