Been in Plymouth a few years, eaten in Peirmasters, (Good) and Seawings (OK), but struggling to find any place that is within easy reach of PYH, and that is really good, affordable, and open on Sundays!!! Like Fresh Seafood, a good Fresh indian, nothing to pretencious, needs to be clean... HELP!!!

Zucca at the north end of Sutton Harbour used to be excellent. Italian style, quite smart, reasonably priced (esp lunch). It is a few years since I have been there though... Tel P 224225... PS not sure about Sunday.

If you want near the yacht haven, there was a place almost at the end (land) of the Mountbatten breakwater (or whatever it's called). It was recommended to us as a good seafood restaurant earlier this year, but when we went to have a look one sunday lunchtime it was closed, but I don't know if that was just for the day or for good.

Can't remember the name, sorry, but it's an obvious building on its own.

Other than that, across the water to Sutton Harbour there's Joined up Whiting, which, for lunch, is very reasonable.

Is that the bright yellow pub near the slip? or is it the one a bit higher up...

Every time I try to get into the one by theslip, they never seem tohave a table(Even if Im by myself) and the other one
always seems to have music, and is packed out as well,,,I will just have to try harder, or change my socks...

Well,,, you come away thinking,,, well that was okay, but could have been better...

Well it's 20 yrd's from wer'e my boat normally is. M1. You may need the dinghy. It's not posh, but the food is superb. There both in Turnchaple. The New inn. called. Umm cant remember now. Used to be very good. The Boringdon. Up the steps, serves excelent grub. Basic yes, but good food. Yep, the Boringdon is nearly always busy. Strange for a small village. Dont know where the folk come from. It's a bit rough and ready, but the service is superb and they cant help enough. The menue is not extencive. But you will enjoy whatever you have.
