He's doing a brilliant job! I can quite imagine the 3 of them crossing the line very close together which after 26000 miles is incredible.

Poor Ellen is being dealt an awful hand but she has a very fast boat and if she can emerge from these conditions without too big a deficit she will still be in with a great chance.

Whatever the outcome, she has put in a performance to be proud of. One hell of a sailor.
 
there was a day, befroe he took the lead, when he just ripped up 100 miles behind them - so yes, i reckon golding in with a great chance.

ellen job bit harder: she is not in the same wind as joyon, and has less time in which to catch up i think...
