Had my second take away from the Golden Pot on Saturday evening. Unfortunately, although my first experience was good, this one was not. Spare ribs were so vastly overcooked that they ended up dry, hard and inedible. Two off the remaing three items were wrong; I got plain rice instead of a plain chow mein and what should have been duck in plum sauce wasn't, the sauce was I think sweet and sour but certainly came with pineapple. I will give it one more try to see which is the typical experience, but my advice would be to check your order there and then rather than when you have walked for twenty minutes back to the boat.

Had a simailar experience with wrong items ordered. Girl who took the order had poor english and did not seem to know a lot about chinese food. Advice would be to go there and get their menu; every dish has a reference number. Would make ordering a lot simpler and avoid misunderstandings. We ordered chicken sate as a starter and finished up with chicken in sate sauce as a main. Overall the food was well cooked if slightly bland ; but then I love red hot sauces. Will also give it another go before making a judgement.
