I bought one in France last year, cheaper than Plastimo on UK!!! It seems to be very well made, all aluminium alloy with torlon ball races, very easy to fit (didn't need to remove the mast) and it has worked very smoothly all year. I am very pleased with it. Highly recimmended. There is also a UK stockist and a French web page www.goiot.com and an e mail address info@goiot.com - they speak english and will give you the UK distributer's address. I would suggest you go to france and buy one....you could have a holiday on the price difference.
