Only damage, a parted seam on the UV strip of the genoa. Sail itself undamaged.

There was 25 knts when we were there a couple of months ago
like others have said that passage always seems windy

Just returned from a flotilla holiday in Croatia, where it was 40 degrees the last few days, with a massive high over the Adriatic, likely to stay for a while according to our lead crew. Not much wind, it usually started to blow about 3pm, just as we were mooring up.

Avoid Lucice, very nice bay but we were ripped off at the restuarant; we told him there would be 16 of us, so he said he would cook some meat and fish dishes we could all share. Very delicious, but then he charged us 840 kunar (£84) for the three of us. Expect to pay about £15 per head normally.

Its a great place to sail, there are some lovely anchorages, and islands, the marinas are getting expensive though.

So 'ang on. You booked for 16 people, he prepared food for 16 and 3 of you turned up. I think you got away lightly! Or have I got something wrong?
