With bad backs and weather, been missing her a bit.

Bad back a bit beter after four months of hell.

Visit tomorrow, prob just country cottage sort of thing and see what sort of stuff still works. Not seen a winter like this for a while.

Umm, marina seems to be moaning about folk taking fuel to the marina and not buying it from them. So are they argueing about carting fuel down a pontoon, or loading it into the boats tank.

No idea, but maybe there's some weird H&S rule and they're using it as an excuse to avoid loosing their business?
Sorry to hear of your back troubles, hopefully a good boating day will be better than whatever the doctor recommended! :)

I don't see humping 25 ltr fuel containers around as a good idea for someone recovering from a bad back. Are you still in Lancs? any chance of getting to a canal marina, they seem to still be selling tax-free fuel. No idea why, or how, but the ones here in the midlands are charging 55p/ltr

My physio (I also have iffy back atm) suggests that boating is excellent back exercise due to the constant gentle working of the muscles. Regrettably, so far, she has stopped short of writing a doc's note to sya I must go boating for so many hours per week!

It was the gentle exercise on the boat, that knackered it in the first place.

Anyway the frost has knackered me transom shower head, it looks a bit numb now with the green garden spray head, what I found on the boat.

It's amazing what comes in usefull...........eventually.
