Vic has mentioned in previous threads that he anchored just off Burano a couple of years ago. I think it was Burano rather than Murano but perhaps Vic will be along to clarify.

Burano , just check the tide and keep out of the channel , we was on Spring and with an two metre keel we had min 0.5 under us ,
Be a where , it can be a bit like a race track between 0830 and 1500 , remember every thing is delivered by boat .

And don't tie up to the dolphins: the magistrates of the water (as the authority responsible for navigation in the lagoon has been called for some 700 years) don't like it!

I can't think of anywhere you could anchor near Venice, frankly. The nearest moorings are at San Giorgio at the start of the Grand Canal if one of the members has left his place free.
