Not seen anything on here about the amazing Natasha Lambert, who has also set out across the Atlantic with the ARC Award winning disabled sailor from Cowes sets off for the Atlantic
She has cerebral palsy, but with fantastic support from her parents and team, has done amazing things that most of us will never achieve.
I met her briefly going through the Caledonian Canal on her round Britain trip - just before she climbed one of the mountains on her route.
At that time she was sailing in day sails round the country, using a high tech “sip-puff” system to allow her to control the boat from her special seat.
This has apparently been scaled up for doing the Atlantic. And already completed major voyage, in multiple senses, to get to the start.
An amazing lady.
