Where do you get them these days.

Mine seemed to be shaped, bit pointed at the front then thickening out to maybe a one inch blue line and 1/4 inch red.

The fly bridge lines need replacing as well, but they seem to go thicker at the corners.

Could do with matching up with new Mucky Farter or maybe Meekatharra name thingy whilst at it.

Looks a bit complicated. Or do they still sell go faster stripes at car places these days.

The words fashion and hlb do not go well together! If proof were needed look in current MBM at pic of red diesel protest. Ugly [--word removed--] on far left. Bears a striking resemblance to hlb. Now he's a star he won't be seen talking to the likes of us for much longer. How much do you want to spend.

Every town will have a half dozen outfits doing computor cut vinyl graphics for vans or signage.Speak to the first local private hire or taxi driver you see with any signwriting on car and try to find who the taxi trade deals with,they are notorious tightwad cheapskates.Only other tip is to make sure thickness of vinyl is fairly heavy to withstand fairly high temps of sun on white glassfibre,vinyl will crack/split after few years.
PS.Unless you have a steady hand and not bothered by bubbles under go faster stripes,get them to apply to boat.

Now that I'm a celebrity, I thought I'd get some for round my arm as well, bit like wot them admirals have.

Yes Oldgit. I know all about computer graphics. But did not think they would do stripes 35ft long. Also a bit concerned about putting them on from the dinghy, less I can design an attractive wibbly wobbly sort of look.

Now that I'm a celeberity I expect to get free stripes, free diesel and free moorings everywhere, I will have no need to carry money about. Just like the queen.

I'm trying to decide what sort of bow folk should give. I was thinking of a sort of grovel. Just like in The King And I... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Not exactly answering the question I know, but boats look so much crisper and cleaner without the stripes.

Why not try removing the old stripes first and then leave it for a bit and see how you feel. I reckon once you've got used to it you won't want to reapply new ones.

Excellent place in Farraday Mill, Plymouth! Not far from where you did the damage! Try using that bow thruster and you should'nt need new stripes. Before you start abusing me, just remember, I may have a picture of the damage, that could have been taken when M.F. was outside the Western Hanger having her bum cleaned. May have a picture!
