Our Sadler 32 has a removable cockpit sole lid which isn't (currently) fixed down. First job is to fit some rubber strip that I have bought to the lid to create a seal so reduce water/rain ingress, before moving on to the second part of the plan which is the fitting of some catches.

what glue do you think to fix rubber seal to the GRP underside of hatch?

I would try an Evostik type. The rubbery sort which you apply to both surfaces, leave to dry for a few minutes, then press together. It's worked for me when I've taken care with the preparation.

Sticks Like Sh*t.

That is the name on the tube, & it really does do what its name says.

Waterproof & can be applied onto wet material, no cleaning required.

It can even be used as a filler.

Very versatile.
