I've been looking at HawkeHouse who I understand are the acknowledged experts on the subject, and they only recommend one glue on the wall, and a different glue on the foam. both contact adhesives, and do not allow for repositioning.

I've seen a few videos on youTube, also appearing to be by experts, and they are all using a 3M repositional spray glue. I'd MUCH rather use a repositionable glue than a contact adhesive.

Does anyone have any opinions or suggestions for a repositionable spray glue for foam backed vinyl to GRP?

FWIW I relined my boat a few years ago using foam backed vinyl and the two adhesives supplied by HH for the sidelinings

I covered ply panels for the roof lining allowing the use of a waterbased PVA adhesive
