Gloucester cruise diverted...

John Filer from P.C.C. called today to let me know that wind and sea conditions were too severe to proceed to Sharpness so they have diverted into Bristol, it has been suggested that the cruise be rescheduled for the May Day bank holiday. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It was horrible this morning - at 0400 in King Road it was WNW 25kn and heavy rain. Most boats cancelled their 0500 lock out, but it only took one who decided to go to Bristol and 6 others put their oilies on again!
