Glorious Weekend

What a great weekend !

Left Dover on Saturday for Boulogne - 1hr 15 mins passage. Delightfuly calm and only the usual traffic in the channel routing to keep clear of.

Lunch in the old town and dinner by the theatre, Sunday morning walk for the croissants followed by a relaxed lunch and trip home, again 1.25hrs.

A number of boats left at the same time and it was interesting to see the various routes followed while crossing the shipping lanes.

Somehow it felt like an extra stolen weekend - the weather was so good for this time of year.

Yep great weekend, we were in Bembridge for the first time in years (usually too busy) and the tides were perfect. The Durver Marina staff are so helpful and friendly unusual compared to what I encounter in some locations. Sunday dived under the boat to clean the hull and props etc - just all good fun.

Not only was this weekend good but the previous weekend was just as nice and went to the boat show, then two days in Yarmouth. Cycled to the Needles Battery & Rocket Test site (been meaning to do that for over 10years).

Two weekends in a row have been so good but not sure this weekend forecast is looking so good.
