In Lymington on Saturday. Yesterday we spent the whole afternoon at anchor in Chichester Harbour doing NOTHING!!!

The sun certainly shone on the righteous...and on me.

Sitting in the office with a Solent glow starting to fade.

Yes was good. We bbq'd in Yarmouth and the weather was glorious. Stupidly came back during the start of the fastnet. Never seen so many boats all in one place.

Me Too

Quick Dash to Yarmouth
Then over to Lymington for some petrol.
Lunch in Alum Bay and then past the Fastnet fleet back to Newtown for cream tea.

does it get any better ?

Is there normally that amount of sticks and flappy things ??

It would be like playing that old computer game frogger trying to get through that lot :eek:

Fantastic weekend in Chi Marina:D

Ate every meal on the back deck - the first time this year that we have been able to:)

If only ONE day of our July fortnights holiday had been like that.........

Yep, it was fab. Cowes fireworks on Friday night, Alum bay Saturday, LYH berth holders party Sat night, Fastnet start on Sunday lunchtime then over to Studland bay for Sunday afternoon, and all in glorious weather. Only downside was that nearly everything electrical or electronic on the boat stopped working at one point or another :-(

Yep; our plans for Guernsey were undermined by mist and work on Friday; but we did manage to whizz over to St Vaast on Saturday morning, and back yesterday lunchtime. Excellent. Mind you, you do want to make sure you catch the lock - this is the entrance channel at lw...

So where do you go for a cream tea in Newtown :)

Had a great on Sunday in Totland Bay, best weather for sometime.

Yes great weekend.

Left Port Solent on Saturday, nice cruise to Studland bay. Anchored overnight with about 200 other boats. BBQ on the beach, shorts weather till 11PM.

Stopped at Totland on the way back for another BBQ then came back late last night once the tide turned. Seemed to have the Solent to ourselves and flat calm yet again.

Still buzzing today.
