Glomex V9125 or V9112?

I am trying to decide which one to get. It will be sitting on the top of the mast or at the middle above the radar. V9125 is 26db and 10'' diameter whereas V9112 is 27.5db and 14'' diameter. Isn't 14'' too big to have up there? What do people usually have?

PS: Could I expect that the "big" one above the radar will produce the same results as the "small" one at the top of the mast?

I have the 9125 and I cannot believe how good it is-perfect reception almost everywhere except deep in coves or against a big wall. and my mast is only 31ft above deck.

Where is it installed? Top of the mast?
