Hey guys, first time poster. If you guys could help me out with some experience.
Basically my team wants to travel across the Atlantic and a main concern is being able to receive and send information.
We have looked at Iridium but the services aren't quite we are looking for, they have vast coverage, but the speeds are extremely slow.
We are looking to send around < 10MB a month around 200kB/day and relatively fast connection, latency and bandwidth. Our next option is Globalstar, their network is fast, but the coverage isn't as complete as Iridium.
We were wondering if anyone here had experience with the Globalstar network? How spotty is it? Has anyone ever used it far away from the coast, like the middle of the Atlantic? (with data or phone) or if there we any other service/terminal recommendations. We do have a good negotiation with a Globalstar provider though.
