Has anybody any experiance of the Radice shaft gland seal. An alternative to the Volvo with grease and water feed.

It looks like an improved version of the excellent Volvo seal. I'd certainly fit one if I were in the market for such a thing.

Put one in a couple of years ago. So far so good. Mine is a bit fiddly to get to, so burping a Volvo would have been annoying.

Radice actually make the Volvo seal so their own version will behave in exactly the same way but with the advantages of easier burping and greasing. However, mostly metric sizes, but Imperial 1" and 1 1/4" available.
