I am trying to find out more information for some friends of mine. Gladimaris is the name of their boat. it was built in 1895 at Stonehouse, England. originally her name was Venturer, pilot boat E-1. Name was supposedly changed to Gladimaris in 1938. In 1919 the owner was Bruce Pym. I was wondering if there may be an organization for classic pilot boats in u.k. where more information may be available.
These friends of mine have lived on Gladamaris for quite some time in Sidney B.C. Canada. the boat is in excellent condition. Any information would be appreciated.
