Does anyone know of a French boat transport firm who will take a boat from the the Med coast to the north coast (Cherbourg?)for a resonable cost? Maybe even a phone No:?

What size/type boat is it. I know someone who does this at a very reasonable price but currently only has a trailer with a bed 3 foot off the ground and so is limited on boat height.

Boat is 38' longx12' beam, approx 11' from keel to top of radar arch, weighs approx 6 1/2 tons.I thought a French firm might be better, as any one from UK is going to have to add cost of ferry/eurotunnel on to the job.any other suggestions appreciated.

Just a thought but during summer I saw princess being delivered to St Cyprien Plage, got chatting to the guy in the car riding 'shotgun'for the transporter. They hate returning empty, it might be worth ringing round UK companies to see if they have an empty trailer coming back- you should get a decent deal.
