hmmm. well things didn't quite go according to our pre-supposed plan. A combination of changed work shifts, illness, child-care, hospital appointments and the sodding weather put paid to most of it. However, what we did achieve was clearing out Laurin's garage in order to get the humungous dinghy out, a transfer of said dinghy to Brandy Hole, a launch of dinghy, the identifying of hole in dinghy and a the recovery of dinghy. Also achieved was me leaving Bridgemarsh 
and new mooring at Brandy Hole. Karen, Susan and I had a blast on the river on Saturday which was great. 6.5knts is v good for Black Magic 
and we creamed along. We dried out at Brandy Hole pontoon and were joined by Goldfish and some male interlopers for a cuppa. A late night gossiping over Manhattan cocktails and wine and then Karen and I got absolutely soaked at 0530 today when we put the boat back on the mooring. thank goodness for Laurin's electric outboard.
Home now and drying out and we are thinking about the dates for a reconvened girl's weekend. Let me or Karen know if you are interested. (by 'you', I mean the females!).
