As most of you know SWMBO is Cancer trials manager so if anyone fancys supporting this we could all meet up
Stuart Davies (IT Technical Project Team Manager – CIU Velindre) is playing a concert to raise funds for Velindre Cancer Centre. His band The Alliance have teamed up with another Blackwood based band PipeDream to put on a rock concert. Both bands play covers: The Alliance are the classic rock band with twin lead guitars and powerful vocals and play rock covers from the 70’s through to the present day such as Free, Thin Lizzy and Van Halen. Pipedream are a high energy rock band of modern covers including tracks by Stereophonics, Prince and Muse.
The concert will be held at The Point in Cardiff Bay on Thursday 12th March. Tickets (only £5) are available from the box office (and in limited numbers from Velindre Fundraising office).
