I have two old Gibb single speed winches on my mast for sail raising.
They are the type that takes a standard winch handle, sit on a base post with two pawls on that base acting on the aluminium drum. The drum is 110mm diam at base, 101 at top and 69.4 at the waist. The drum stands 101 high.
The sharp tips of the pawls are worn. They appear to be plated brass, perhaps chrome plate? They're not line the pawls on 2 speed Gibbs or Lewmar pawls.

Any ideas for spares? Or do I set about to make some my self?

From my Westerly owning days I have a recollection that there are Harken pawls which fit.

I had some machined, when I needed replacements for my Enkes winches.
Cost me a box of canned beers - 24 for 12.
