Please someone has information on quality construction, seaworthiness and maneuverability for only one crew member for the 1982/1984 Gib Sea 114?
We had a GibSea 96.
Would not hesitate to have another.

Typical IOR inspired 1980's design. Perhaps not first choice for single handed sailing as needs crew to get best out of it. Really depends on what your experience is and how you intend to use it. Much will depend on how it is set up, whether it has a good autopilot, good sail and anchor handling gear etc. As to construction, it is a 30 year old boat so you have to consider how well it has been used and looked after more than the original construction.Please someone has information on quality construction, seaworthiness and maneuverability for only one crew member for the 1982/1984 Gib Sea 114?
