Boats out of the water for new shaft seals, didn't realise the yard had such a powerful jetwash so had to do an "emergency antifoul" called SML Marine Paints who were on the ball, and well priced, fifteen litres arrived the next day so it was a quick rub down, and paint......I hate that job, it took me five hours for one coat...it is a very large surface area , luckily I found a couple of boards to lay on but boy, do I ache.
Another coat to do on Thursday....deep joy.

I have discovered that it’s much more satisfying and money welll spent to get someone else to do it. I’ll make the economy savings elsewhere.

Should you wish to join RCC in the future, you could hire the club blocks @ £45.00 quid per session.
Further, if you supply the A/F/ Tea/ Sympathy, you can persuade certain other club members, at a very sensible price, to jet wash and then slap on the horrid stuff for you. !
OG.
Then only downside is a constant stream of onlookers telling you they used that very A/F last year and its rubbish !
Ps, wrong colour as well. :)

I know it will be rubbish, but the diesel powered pressure washer they used made it impossible not to do it, this time no prep, just a quick rub down (the boat, not me) and on it went, I just didn't see the point or have the time to do it "properly".
Cheryl wanted navy, you tell her its wrong...

That was my view when i kept my boat afloat. One of the pleasures of having some money is being able to pay others to do what you don't want to do. :D

Now I "dry sail" and my boat never needs antifouling.
