Roughly 30mins and £25 in a minicab, I'd guess. You need to book the cab, there's no rank at bigginhill. City airport is right by excel (3-4 mins in a cab) and does allow private planes to land

it's a fair trek - try biggin hill (fairly posh mercs)cab firm +441959570777 but i reckon nearer 40 quid.

city airport is favourite v close dunno if they want private planes tho of if £££££

Else, I wd think stapleford on the M11/m25 is a swifter taxi run to excel than biggin, which is mainly handy for bombing germany and not much else.

That is a plain daft question, surely aviators have something similar to an Almanac, and if you (if your flying) or your pilot don't know how to source that information other than a boating forum I would be pretty concerned /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Anyway the answer is that it is the nearest, a 320 bus from outside will have you at Bromley South BR in 15 mins or so (just as quick as a taxi), There is a fast train every ten mins or so to Victoria BR which takes 15 mins, and then you have the District and circle lines to get you started on your way. It is still one hell of a trek from there though. You could consider a taxi from Biggin Hill straight there, the trip would be 16.2 miles, but a crappy journey, this may help :-
