It has become a bit of a challenge getting stuff out to the boat.
Our dishwasher packed up last year so there were various options.
Usually, I would buy the one I wanted in the UK and take it with me in the trailer or car when we next go.
Alternatively, I could buy it in the UK and have it "shipped out"
But there don't seem to many suppliers who will deliver from the UK
So, in this case, I opted for a different solution.

I, initially, found it in Carefour and was thinking that we might collect one when we are out next week.
But I then researched the actual model that Carefour are selling and I found the manufacturer - even cheaper.
The result is a cheap dishwasher - about the same cost as in the UK.
No VAT issues

So, I ordered one last week and sent an email to our marina office, asking them if they would put it in JW's cockpit.
A few minutes ago, the Cockpit camera "went off" and sent this image to me:-

So I logged into the camera - panned and zoomed etc but I couldn't see it in the cockpit.
Found it!!
On the inside camera
It seems that the marina office have a key to JW that I didn't know about!!

Now that we are out of the EU, getting stuff to the boat is going to need to be something like this.
Buying locally and having it delivered seems to work.

The cameras are a good way of knowing when stuff has been delivered.

BTW
Thanks to @John100156 for keeping my old internet router working (rebooting it when it fails) until I can replace it next week.

Looks like a lovely evening out there - cant wait to get out

Please for you .
We have bought locally .France / Italy .
I know you sailed yours round and regularly used your trailer to cart stuff back / forth.
I guess it was a habit ?

I always use local fixers never had any issues .

We bought a fridge locally, makes sense to use local resources whenever you can!

Weather has been really great in SCM since 28 Dec., we had a couple of windy days but other than that, clear blue sky and sunshine for 3 weeks. Cold at night though....!

Weather looks good for us.
Not much cloud and temperatures 20 degrees plus forecast
A big Mistral forecast in the Gulf for next Friday.

Classic Mistral situation - High over Biscay Low over Central Europe causes the Mistral in the Gulf de Lion
Looks like the SoF will get some of it as well.
Thankfully, that low is further south than usual so it looks like it will leave us Spanish boaters alone.
Usually, we get a branch of the Mistral that blows down the Ebro Valley - I believe that Spanish call it the Tramuntana.
Cant wait to get out for some winter sunshine.
Hope to see you soon, John.

What's the new clubhouse like?

No more Sandra doing her 'robot' I guess?

Several of us have said they miss Manolo, Sandra and Laura, the family that have run it and have been a sort of constant feature since the marina bar first opened, we have seen their children grow up for the last 13 years and they were always so very warm and welcoming!

Jury is still out for me, it is very new and it's low season, so some teething problems and getting use to new catering equipment are to be expected. A case of 'if it is not broke, why try to fix it' but I expect once running up at full speed, all will be well, and modernising looks OK too!

Been super sunny for weeks now, grey sky with broken cloud so far today, but brightening up! Keith and Lyn on their way down from Santander, ETA 3pm, and fingers crossed for Mike et al due to arrive tomorrow...! Boat being lifted at 9:30 on Monday then off down to Altea for a few days..... best laid plans and all that.
