getting out to mooring

An idea

How about a folding version? Floats could be removed and left on the mooring and the frame (made from stainless steel?) could be taken on board and also used as a conventional folding bike if it could be fitted with wheels?

for dead calm, inland moorings.

You could save a lot of money swimming out, nearly as easily.

As a means of getting out to a tidal mooring on a windy day it appeals as much to me as a colonoscopy.
