Biblical rain flooding the whole of this part of Spain.
Even being reported in the UK on the BBC news.

This was a few mins ago from lightning maps - each dot is a lightning strike.

And this was the radar view from Windy

It has been doing this since about 4 o'clock yesterday evening.
Fantastic electrical storms.

Just got back from the bar (its our Friday night social).
Loads of Brits here - lightening all around and water everywhere.
Spanish roads can't cope with the amount of water.
Even the dockside is like a waterfall.

That said, it is lovely and cosy inside the boat.

I'm travelling back home tomorrow - been here since June so this is a "kind of" "send off".
Boat all put to bed for the winter.

Lovely here in Antibes. Not a breath of wind. Aircon humming away to keep us cool

Are you going out on the water this weekend? It will be my first cruise in nearly three weeks (nothing but wind and rain), plan to spend Saturday night at Porquerolle and back early for Sunday. And hopefully a few day trips next week.

It’s not coming my way:( I think next time I’ll go Italian (Absolute):encouragement: The wife says there is no more next time:disgust:

Yup, this summer has been pretty weird, weatherwise.
You might remember the large and long stair right in front of the marina here in CF, near the Coast Guard offices.
Just a few days ago, it was also resembling a waterfall... Totally unheard of, around here!
Can't complain too much anyway, the usual glorious weather is back again, and it looks like we'll be out for some snorkeling tomorrow! :encouragement:

Put your foot down and show her who wears the trousers in your relationship. I see you in a Navetta 73

A couple of anchorages, the Plage Notre Dame and the Plage De La Courtade
