I have got homeport thinking it would be an inexpensive addition to use on my PC ( I have a Garmin chartplotter)
Home port has loaded OK and I can use the charts which I have on my chartplotter ( In my case the ones for spain/balearics and France)
I have a mini GPS receiver the BU303-353 This is working fine and giving the correct position.
But.... I cant get a position to show on the homeport mapping, there seems to be no tool on the application to control the linking to the GPS.
Does anyone know how to get the application to talk to my gps?
Thanks all

Homeport is a planning application not a real time nav programme i.e. you can use it to generate routes on the PC which you can then transfer to the plotter for use at sea.

It is not meant to interface direct to a GPS. The routes/waypoints you generate on Homeport are transferred to the plotter on an SD or equivalent card.
