This is what I had in mind, turn the dinghy sideways so there is more room either side
getting ashore when tender is on davits and reversed into berth.

There is a Fairline for sale with it's dinghy pictured on the transom, nose down so possibly why it was done thus. works well on that yacht but most yachts are not so high sided as mobosand can be accessed from the sides easy enough. I hate to think what Mr jobsworth would say about the dinghy in your pic mind -'how long did you say she is sir?
