SWMBO gave me one for Christmas. This afternoon whilst helping someone tighten up a shackle on their Mirror Dinghy the pliers sheered right off.

Unfortunately SWMBO has lost the receipt. Has anyone else had any dealings with them?

Gerber have a life time warranty (In US anyway).

Why not take it back to the shop and try your luck, they should at least be able to give you an address for the UK.

Have sent back a Gerber Legend to the states which was repaired and sent back pretty promptly foc. Excellent tools under normal circs - I use mine daily, adn they generally last a couple of years at a go . . . .

Mine has had fairly hard use for twelve years and is as good as the day it was given to me.

Is that the makers lifetime, or yours.

Or more likely the tool's lifetime, ie. until the tool breaks and its life is over.
