I am looking for a small eye or pulley-like rope guide that can be bolted onto the inner face of a metal toerail to lead the genoa roller furling line back to the cockpit.

The Spinlock stanchion block protrudes too far to be of use.

What I am looking for is a small wedge-shaped fitting that bolts onto the toerail, looks like it has a sheave embedded in it, but it appears the plastic insert does not rotate, so the fitting would probably not be called a block.

This type of fitting is common on Beneteau boats.

Anyone know who could supply or who manufactures such an item?

Well maybe it's called a stanchion bullseye. It sticks out about 25mm from the stanchion, moulded in nylon with a stainless ferrule insert, and is held onto the stanchion with 2 bolts. You'd have to be pretty clumsy to walk into it.
Maybe you should lead the furling line round the outside of the stanchions if you're that bothered. I'vejust fitted one on my Corribee, and it's fine - I bet your side decks are at least as wide as mine.

The Spinlock stanchion block stands out 65 mm from the stanchion.

And between stanchions, the line stands out further than the fittings, leading to a cut on SWMBOs shin and daughter tripping by standing on the line at an unfortunate moment.

Our deck is not too narrow, but the narrowest point is at the shrouds (inboard type). This is also the point where the line deviates most from the toerail.

The other fittings, those I am looking for, such as were on our previous boat, a First 285, lead the line along the toerail and round the outside of each stanchion base. A far more satisfactory arrangement.

An earlier reply suggested Benny could supply those fittings. I'll give them a try.

Thanks.
