I have two gensets on board the boat one of which is a little sick. i have now had to wait 8 weeks fo rthe local agent to come with the parts to repair said unit and also service them both at the same time. not surprisingly after telling them that they need to bring specific service items they failed to bring them.
When questioning the technician ( techie in the loosest posible sense of the word) i find that after sending a written request detailing the work to be carried out the halfwit service manager has not even ordered the required parts for the job!!!!! ie no fuel filters, belts and anodes for the units. plus they came with non original oil filters to fit, bearing in mind that the gensets are still in warranty and they are the local distributor this is appalling. now they tell me i will have to wait something like two weeks for the parts to arrive!!!!!!!!
beware do not get your gensets serviced here in Trinidad /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
