Generator prob

Hi, I have a EMI 5 kva pekins powered genny.When you only load it lightly runs fine,when you boil the kettle, it struggles and puffs out black soot.I've checked the air filter and was ok.
Does anybody know of a mr fixit in the hamble area.

Bonjour, The make = "E.M.I." is that electro magnetic impulse? any how, try Richard O,Connor as he looks after a S41 on the Hamble. Ring me for his number.

try fuel filter or fuel pump ,sound like fuel starvation when demand is greater
