Generator help

I have just bought a 1992 Princess with a diesel generator that won't start.

I don't have a manual and I am struggling to identify it.

The set has the words DIEM 3.5kw Marine Genset on the cover but I can't seem to track them down anywhere.

Any ideas?




We don't want a sports cruiser, totally impractical. Err ok then.

Ok is it electric or pull start.
What is happening or not happening re does it smoke is it easy to turn over how long has it been stood for or did it just stop .
Check fuel , supply if modern low oil switch is not cutting out the thing.
