Been looking for two fuses for a generator. Unfortunately the normal glass fuses are too long, they seem to be the same size as domestic fuses. Of course these don't come with the correct rating as 1.5A and 10A are needed for the DC and AC receptacles. Tried Maplin but to no avail. Only one left would be Halford but I'm not sure whether they stock them either.

Oh and while I'm at it: anybody know where I could get an american three pin plug? The two pin version isn't grounded or polarity protected (they really think THAT's a good idea??). In fact it's a japanese plug but since they're identical I gave up on asking for one /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

cheers

For your USA plug try Amazon - they do a surprising range. But expensive - you need a whole cable. An alternative would be a local computer store/repair outfit, but I suspect a simple adaptor may be the easiest route.
