Has anyone tried Harpic limescale remover,as cleaner on their gelcoat ? cheers bobt

yes it works realy well apply with clean cloth leave for about 15/20 mins and then wash off with fresh running water may need to use cloth while washing off take care of eyes and any cuts will sting like hell so gloves may be a good idea (it contains a mild acid scimilar to oxalic,so i,m told) Kieron

For scuffs and other marks I use one these melamine fibre sponge products like 'Magic Eraser' made by JML and sold by Robert Dyas and Woolies. There's a similar product in Tesco apparently and a boating version called Erasure. All the same stuff - non-toxic, use with cold water, no gloves - really great and not expensive. Great too on UPVC and garden furniture.

Astonish is also good; about £1 a tub. Also works well on vinyl .
