I need to fill in a couple of small scratches in the gel coat on my 2006 sea ray, The official supplier of sea ray gel coat is based in the US, and based on a quote from them is looking like its going to cost ~£150 for a tiny pot of gel coat. Most of this is down to the shipping costs from the US. I've spoken to Marina Marbella (the Uk sea ray dealer), but they will only recommend the supplier based in the US

Does anyone know of a gel coat supplier in the UK who will be able to match the sea ray colour?

Unless your boat is very new, it isnt going to match anyway, so its a question of how close...
Matching gel on site is quite a skill, add in travel time etc.. not cheap.
If you really mean small scratches, get a tube of white gelcoat filler for £7 in any chandlery, and decide after a few weeks if you can live with it. 5 year old boat... small scratch... £7... well, maybe ! In fairness, if its say 1mm wide, its actually quite hard to see, unless you want to look for it.
Otherwise, if you have the time and interest, for £50 you can probably buy enough gel and pigments to do half a boat. For off white, try yellow, red, black and white. And half a day.
Filler is easy to use; gel isnt hard to use, but its 10 times harder than filler. I'd try the £7 solution.. you can always grind it out again.
