Lovely sunshine, gentle breeze (South anyway), just what was needed to blow away the winter blues and take advantage of having left the boat in the water over winter, 'cept............

...and I spent Friday on a small "mooring raft" at the bottom of a muddy river (the Brean) relaying a fore and aft mooring.
The middle 4 hours I could do nothing - nor could I get ashore, so enjoyed a book and a thermos and the bird life (feathered) in the brisk Southerly wind. It pointed out to me that I have reached the age when I need a hat to retain the body heat !
Good thing was - I succeeded !
2 weeks to launch.

Wish I'd been well enough to tile the floor. Five days of sunshine and I haven't been able to get near the boat with a stinking cold and now a chest infection. I am feeling so frustrated!!!
