I have a Thornycroft T90 with a BW Velvet Drive gearbox which I need to remove. Does anyone know how far back it needs to go before the splines disengage from the drive plate? I haven't measured but I would estimate I can slide the prop shaft back about 2-3" without having to remove the coupling hub from the shaft.
